Contains 4 spherical bearings for the rear control arms' upper front-outer locations.

Benefit Note: A common serviceable item, worn joints exhibit excess movement and are commonly diagnosed simply from knocking and rattling noises coming from the upright or hub area. If worn and not replaced, these joints can have a significant negative impact on wheel alignment and resulting uneven tyre wear or scrub.

Rear hub bearings for MX5 ND

Excellent.

As another person commented below, cool the bearing before fitment! I simply left the bearings in the freezer for an hour before fitting and they pressed in fine using just an m12x200mm bolt and 2 sockets. Lower ones are a bit more fiddly to fit due to the shape of the hub, but still not too difficult. Difficulty rating of 7.5/10.

The bearings themselves seem much sturdier than OEM, they also have a steel (stainless?) ring in place to retain the rubber boot and thus solve the issue with the OEM bearings.

Rear hub bearings W62719

These bearings outer diameter are 0.1mm greater than the removed originals from Mazda mx5 ND1 which are already originally sized for the correct interference fit. Could not pull in with standard puller. Appears to require hub removal and bench press to fit giving greater than found interference fit. As used one bearing to try and fit returns refused by vendor who advised to heat hub and cool bearing to fit. Suggest this requirement is advised with purchase details so purchaser can make up mind if appropriate for their vehicles requirements.
