Description

Go Fast Bit's diverter valve upgrades use their proven (and patented) TMS Technology to ensure rapid boost recovery on gearshift and optimum throttle response, as well as superior boost holding. You WILL notice these valves as they will give you much improved throttle response and boost recovery after re-pressing the accelerator pedal. More responsive means more fun!

Quite simply, the simplest and most satisfying upgrade for your MK7 Golf GTi.

VTA or DV+?
Depends if you want sound or not. Both valves are constructed with the same quality materials and valve mechanism, and both offer the same performance and reliability benefits. However, the VTA vents to atmosphere for sound whilst the DV+ recirculates the air to keep it quiet.

Why choose a VTA over a “BOV spacer”?
“BOV spacers” are cheap and they make sound. But that’s it. All the inherent performance and reliability issues you get with the factory diverter valve remain, because a spacer doesn’t change the diverter valve in any way. The VTA improves the operation of the diverter valve for sound AND performance.

Why choose a VTA over a kit that includes a solenoid?
Because there’s no performance benefit to replacing the factory solenoid, only a much higher price! If a VTA with the factory solenoid can open in a couple of hundredths of a second, why pay more than you need to?

T9381 DV+ with Solenoid

The T9381 is the latest addition to the DV+ family, and offers all the benefits you’d expect from a DV+:

  • Sharper throttle response
  • Faster boost recovery after gearshift or brief throttle lift
  • Improved boost holding
  • Unrivalled longevity, backed by our Lifetime Warranty

The T9351 DV+ has been and remains the workhorse of the DV+ family. By replacing the problematic valve mechanism of the factory electronic diverter whilst re-using the solenoid, the T9351 works brilliantly, keeping the cost low and the benefits high.

However, with the T9351 there is an increase in overall height of 11mm, which in some cases can cause clearance issues, for example:

  • 2013.5+ Jetta GLI
  • Any MQB platform with an aftermarket intake or IS38 turbo
  • VW Golf MK8 GTi and R
  • Audi 4.0 TFSI from 2012-2017

Here’s where the T9381 comes in. Featuring a low-profile integrated solenoid, the T9381 is shorter and more compact than even the factory diverter, ensuring it will fit the tightest applications.

The T9381 can also be used instead of the T9351 when you’d prefer to replace the entire factory diverter valve rather than re-use the factory solenoid (e.g. if your solenoid is faulty).

You should also consider our insanely good value Octane Booster Package which includes this valve, an ITG Panel Filter and bottle of Octane Booster. See Golf MK7/7.5 R Booster Package or Golf MK7 GTi Booster Package.
